Standard Mini-Mental State Exam (SMMSE)

Are you worried about your memory? Take a positive step for your wellbeing today with a Standard Mini-Mental State Exam.

If you are worried about your memory, just drop in to Tenterden Social Hub and Dementia Centre for a free, friendly memory check. As part of the Kent Memory Champion Team we’re here to listen, support and guide you.

We offer one-to-one memory checks using the Standard Mini-Mental State Exam (SMMSE) in a more relaxed non-clinical setting. It’s a simple pen and paper activity that looks at memory, attention and thinking.

The 30-minute assessment can help spot early signs of a change and guide you to the right support. The SMMSE is designed to be used in conjunction with a complete patient history and other clinical information. The SMMSE assessment is confidential and will only be shared with your medical professional.
